Fairness and Development
Democracy, politics, government and civil society • inequality, difference and inclusion • human capability and development; social entrepreneurs • rights, law, civic responsibility and the public sphere • justice, peace and conflict management • power and privilege • authority, security and freedom • imagining a hopeful future.
Fairness is the equality of being able to make judgment free of discrimination and development is the act of progress and growth. These two are related as as there can be no fairness without developing quality first. For example, as kids we were taught to be fair to one and another, but to gain this quality we were reminded by teachers, parents, adults and so on.
This affects us as in many schools, there has been a major problem currently, bullying. It is a very serious matter that many schools don’t seem to do to stop it and at least 3.2 million students have been a victim of some form of bullying.
Fairness technically and mostly affects the human behavior, but in the sources understanding around the world of nature and development of people’s fairness preferences are limited. It only captures situations where there is broad agreement that fairness requires equality, people often disagree on what is fair because they disagree on whether individual achievements and luck of what maximizes a lot of benefits on how can we justify inequalities. Studies have found out that as children enter adolescence, they increasingly view inequalities reflecting differences in individual achievements, but not luck, rather as fairness, whereas efficiency considerations mainly play a role in late adolescence.

Information literacy:
During this topic I will be using the skill of researching to find out more about storage devices for my booklet and will be making it for grade 7 during this term. The main website or research engine which I will be using will be Google or if needed Firefox so I can go to different websites according to what I search about. Websites I will try to exclude or ignore are Wikipedia, yahoo answers as they are not the best websites as it’s not trustworthy since we don’t know for a fact that the information on there is. As this is for the year 7’s I’m going to write using simple words and/or bullet points so the information could be easier to understand and not hard to read and question complicated words.

Communication
A tactic I will be using to attract the year 7’s to my work is colorful and bright colors such as yellow, red, green and so on, and make the display with affects such as glow or borders etc.+ using  pictures (but not too much as we still need information.) As I’ve said before I will be suing simple words and bullet points to prevent the year 7’s to question complicated words and bore them. My font will be bold, colorful and big with bright colors but simple and clear such as bubble writing or something with interesting enough to drag the year 7’s to my work.
